Tami works at the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) as Manager: Talent Management, based in Auckland Park, Johannesburg, South Africa. She is an MBL graduate with over 17 years' experience in the ETD and ICT/Media Sector. She operates at a strategic level servicing the entire organisation responsible for the development and execution of an integrated Talent Management Strategy in support of the organisational strategy attainment.

The advent global war for talent in the ever -changing broadcasting landscape calls for key competencies which Tami as a qualified Talent Economist employs throughout the Talent Management Value Chain: Competency Framework & Management, Competency-Based Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Performance Management, Recognition & Rewards/Compensation, Career Progression & Promotion, Succession Planning and Retention, Talent Assessments, Talent Development & Deployment, EVP Model/Framework, Employee Engagement and Values translation. All these strategies are deployed in an effort to embed a culture of high performance and affirm the SABC as an Employer of Choice thus ensuring Talent attraction and  retention for key and critical roles.

As a qualified/professional Life and Executive Coach, Tami exercises the acquired skills to enhance the delivery of assigned strategic projects to ensure long-term business sustainability and competitiveness.

Tami has acquired complementing generic HR competencies over the years: Organisation Design, Work & Workforce Planning, Job Profiling and Evaluation, Learning and Development, Employment Relations, Leadership Development, Employment Equity, Employee Health and Wellness and Change Management. These are still interwoven within her daily activities as she partners with the lead Project Managers to ensure integration and deliver business results as per SABC mandate.
