About me

Celesta Rosenzweig is currently working as Manager: Strategic Projects at the SABC. She has fulfilled this role since July 2012 and her main focus is to manage the execution of strategic Human Capital projects and the related change management within budget and time constraints and in accordance with agreed quality standards, in order to deliver on the strategic direction of Human Capital Services.

Before moving into this position she managed the SAP system environment within the SABC. This entailed the management of a team of 34 professional staff members and ensuring the system is operating effectively and efficiently and meeting all end-user needs. As the Change Manager on the SAP implementation project (a 2 year project) before this, Celesta was responsible for all aspects of transition management and communication for the system implementation. The SAP implementation project has been hailed as the project with the best managed change to date within the organisation.

Celesta started her career in Human Resources focussing on management and organisational development as well as Performance Management.

She completed a four year Degree in Communications (4th year equal to Honours), specialising in Public Relations and Journalism. Celesta has also completed a certificate in Human Resources through Unisa and a certificate programme in Change Management. Her latest studies include a Management Development programme through Gibbs. Within this programme their syndicate group won the accolade as the best group in the programme.
